Men Matters Online Journal (MMOJ) is a peer-reviewed international online journal, published twice a year,  in June and December.

Aims and Scope:
Men Matters Online Journal (MMOJ) is a literary journal devoted to topics concerning men, masculinity, gender, culture, politics, sexuality and challenging men’s roles in the traditional patriarchal society. It is interested in writings that examine what it means to be a man in contemporary society, as fathers, sons, brothers, husbands, partners, lovers and in all their various forms and shapes are welcomed. We want writings that focus on the social, emotional and psychological dimensions of 21st century men.

MMOJ is interested in creative writing, literary and scholarly work that focus on issues related to men. It provides a space where male concerns and issues are explored, examined and discussed. MMOJ invites contributions from writers of all genders on writings on men.

The journal comprises 3 sections:
·  Unpublished/new creative writing – peer-reviewed
·  Published creative writing (Editor’s Choice of republished work)
·  Scholarly and literary essays on matters pertaining to men – peer- reviewed

Peer-review PolicyMMOJ is a peer-reviewed online journal, published in June and December. All submissions to the Journal are read and evaluated by at least two reviewers before a publication decision is made.

Ethics StatementMMOJ is committed to meeting and upholding standards of ethical behaviour at all stages of the Journal’s publication process. The Journal and its publisher, Ardent Paramount Enterprise (APE), do not bear any responsibility for verifying copyright permissions provided by the author. Any breach of copyright laws will result in rejection of the submitted material or its retraction after publication. All materials submitted to the Journal should not contain any libellous, defamatory, obscene or unlawful matter.

Copyright Statement: Copyright of the works reverts to the individual authors. When later included in the author’s book, please cite first publication at Men Matters Online Journal.

Open Access Policy: MMOJ is an open access journal. It is freely available without charge to users. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this Journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access. 

Privacy Statement: The names and email addresses entered in the MMOJ site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of MMOJ and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
